Hey guys I recently bought a used red sea reefer 250 and I seem to be having microbubble problems, I only see them out of my return pump when the water enters back into the aquarium I attach the set up of how the previous owner had his set up. My question was would converting to a single hose with good plastic clamps and or zip ties at each end would solve my micro bubble issue?

I would definitely replace the current return hose set up with a single length of hose. That barb in the middle has to be creating a venturi effect.

Okay sweet That should solve my micro bubble problem completely I appreciate the help thank you very very much

I am having the same issue on my 170. I do have just a solid piece of hose but still getting little bursts of micro bubbles. Did you get your problem solved? Im not sure where I am getting them from
