Any help is appreciated. Thanks ahead
I just got the macro aqua m-50 mini hang-on external protein skimmer, 60 gallon. I know it's not the best but it's atleast something basic. My problem is the micro bubbles are crazy.
I've read it needs to break in? or I need to adjust my intake? No consensus on what to do. Anyone have this problem do I just need to be patient or can I do something about it?

Micro bubbles is usually common when a new skimmer is introduced. It usually goes away in about a week or so. You can try leaving the skimmer unplugged for a few hours and plugging it back in.

1-2 wks for skimmer to be properly efficient which would eliminate the bubbles. If they persists, you can add some foam pads or cubes in the return to minimize them even further

I had this issue years ago. The bubbles will get better after the skimmer breaks in. Don't worry, they are just unsightly but shouldn't harm anything in the tank. Adding the foam pads on the return did help.

Macro Aqua M-50 Mini Hang-on External Protein Skimmer, just got it 2 days. It took a while to dial in, got it foaming perfect today all day, then I fed my fish this evening and foam disappeared not making any difference adjusting it. The directions said it does this if see below typo in troubleshooting info.
