I have been bubble scrubbing in my 15 gallon and I love it.

Wondering if bringing in the cold air from outside is going to effect my tank temperature?

I live in Houston, so it’s not cold that long, but I’m wondering what other bubblers do during cold months.

I have a 1” pvc tube plumbed outside for incoming air for my Skimmer that runs 24/7 and have not seen a temp change that my heaters didn’t correct easily. Your heater might work a tiny bit more then normal in the winter but that’s it in my opinion. You may consider having a back up heater just incase the one you have fails as we all know bad things happen at the worst time with no one open for hours.

It will make a difference, but only a very small one.

Ok. I was just worried because it’s not a ton of water, and it turns my tank into a slimmer! Lol

I do have 2 heaters in there. Not sure how I ever know of one has failed. I do check temp daily on mercury thermometer.

Thanks for the replies guys!
