There was a article years ago . I believe it was elegant corals .,…

it was using a air stone close to your turn pump to essentially inject micro bubbles into your display tank

anyone remember seeing this ?

Maybe? Lots of folks do this on purpose to mobilize stuff in the DT and sump to get it floated into a sock or skimmer or other collection. It can create a lot of salt creep and splash creep issues so most don't do it very long at a time, if I remember the thing. I'm too lazy to search but I do think it was discussed here too?
