I am having issues with micro bubbles getting into my tank
I believe they are coming from my Protein Skimmer (Nyos Quantum 120)

Is there something I should be doing different with my sump? Or place anything in the section before the return pump? IMG_1965.jpg IMG_1968.jpg IMG_1969.jpg

Can you dial back the flow of the pump inside your skimmer and adjust the air /water mix to make up the difference. That should force less air bubbles out of the skimmer.

I am not sure if the Nyos has the option to dial back the pump. I will have to dissemble to find out
I do have the option to control the air / water mix - opening up or closing the air valve doesn't appear to have any impact.

Could it be affected by having the Skimmer on some eggcrate?
Is there anything I should place in the area before the return pump to remove/filter the bubbles out?

Removed the egg crate, didn't seem to have an affect on the bubbles or the skimming - so going to just keep it removed

anyone else have this issue with the Nyos skimmer? Could it just need more time to break in?

Following up to this thread.
Didn't see the option to dial back the pump on the Nyos 120 when I removed / reassembled.

Is there any other options to limit micro bubbles? I
s there something additional I should add to the Waterbox Sump?
