I cannot figure out how to cut down on the microbubles from my vertex omega 130. I have raised and lowered it. I have played with the tube and the thing on the front of the pump. No matter what I have a lot of bubbles coming out of the out flow. Can anyone help

Is the skimmer new?

My Aquamax skimmer bubbles for about 3 months, then just stopped.

Bubbles never made it to the display though as I have a bubble trap in the sump.

no not new. ive had it running for probably 6 months. I do have a bubble trap as well but some seem to get through and I see a little in the dt. and my refugium section is covered in bubbles because the water goes to it next

My settled down after I took it out and cleaned it for the first time. Disassembled, scrubbed, reassembled, vinegar bath while running, then back in the tank.

ye on the vertex if you clean them you have to redo the break in period. if I close the output pipe it raises the water in the skimmer to where its overflowing. if I turn it down just a little bubbles start flowing out of it.,

Sorry I can’t help you anymore [emoji20]
