Micro bubbles

Well installed the new wave maker in the bio cube a second ago, suppose to be for nano tanks way smaller flow capacity that the previous wave maker and the micro bubbles are back, no where near as bad but they are back, so are micro bubbles bad, are the beneficial at all or are they just undesirable

I've heard they irritate many corals.

Looks like a new tank though, if it's very new, production of the bubbles should reduce when you develop biofilms and other organic matter. This goes out the window if you're pulling air into your powerhead from the water surface though.

Looks like you just added water to it recently, in which case thats completely normal and will settle out with a day or two.

If not, is your power head sucking air from the surface of the water? I ask because it looks pretty close to the top and if the powerhead is strong enough, it might do a sort of vortex type thing to the surface and suck down air bubbles and disperse them among the tank. In which case just lowering your circ pump a couple inches will fix that problem

just set he tank up Tuesday , I did just hear some racket looked up and the powerhead did just create a vortex for a few seconds, moved the unit down about 3” already noticeably less micro bubbles!
