Hydroids are Hydrozoans - true Jellyfish are Scyphozoans, but they both have similar life cycles. So jelly fish? That’s all that comes up.
These ones are just kind of there, but some species pack a potent sting and may harm things in your tank.Bad? Good? Or just kinda there. They don’t really bother me as long as they don’t bother corals or clams.
I don't recall offhand - they might and some wrasses might, but as mentioned they should go away on their own soon.Do we know if something like a ruby scooter/dragonett would eat these little guys?
Yeah, they eat copepods, rotifers, and other small zooplankton.Do they eat copepods? I’ll say since I’ve seen them show up I don’t see nearly as much pods on my glass. Before it looked like I had a pod bloom.
Possibly- I'd expect a few survivors in most cases though.Explains where my pods went. Do we think they can wipe out a whole population cause I was kinda proud of all the pods I added from algea barn
