Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone knew of an article on the evolution or growth of micro organisms and bacteria in a reef tank. I've noticed in my 5 month old tank that there are mini shrimp and such swimming around and I'm interested in how they came to be and what there grew from. So if anyone Ahmad any information or knows if a good article I can look at please let me know!!

Thanks!

Look up pods (specifically amphipods and copepods).

They're a good sign of health...

I know what they are and such I just want to know how the get from nothing besides a tank full of microscopic bacteria to a tank full of small living creatures and such.

Because eggs and cysts for each of these organisms are found on live rock, sand, etc.
