Today my thermometer broke inside my tank

But the red liquid didn’t came out

Only the little metal sphere felt in the bed sand

I vacuum the spheres and the glasses from the sand

What else would you do?

If this is not the proper place to post, someone plz let me know

More then 24 h and I don’t notice any different reaction from my fish or corals

So I think nothing bad happened

I just vacuum all little metal balls and crash glasses of the thermometer and it seams it solved the problem

If any change happens I will post

Could get a small boyd poly filter, place in flow area and monitor it for color changes. It changes color if metals are in the water, and absorbs them.

All we can really recommend is using carbon here.

It's a general statement for 9/10 posts on this section because it's a quality catch-all for most anything in the water. Purigen wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks Rakie
I have carbon in my “ filter” but I guess I have vacuum all the little balls of the broken thermometer, and fortunately it seams that nothing bad happened to the tank
