My chaeto grew a little bit and then it died. It turned dark and it just stopped growing. I have yet to open it to clean it out and I'm still running it because there is gha growing in it and it is helping for now while I get my new batch of chaeto which I just ordered.

If you're looking for a micro algae reactor, I would use a turf scrubber (ATF). If you meant a macro algae reactor, like chaeto, then check the link I posted.

I dig my reactor. I gave a AIO system & dnt have the space dor a fuge, so asked a mate @Christo so build me one from scratch.

End result was awesome & i get propper growth.
