I just started my new reef octopus bio churn reactor and I want to use the microbacter7 but no one sells that product locally, is there a different product I could use? I thought about ordering the microbacter7 but I am afraid of it freezing, I am assuming if it freezes it is junk.

Not sure about the freezing of Microbacter7. I see you are in MN so therefore the freezing issue if shipped. Email Chris Brightwell about the freezing issue: [email protected]
He's a good guy and will get back to you soon. I use the stuff daily with my vodka dosing and it works great. Good luck

Go Gophers! My stepson is on the football team at the U.

Not too sure about the mb7 having an issue if frozen. I am curious how you like the bio-churn reactor. Do you have the internal or external. They look really nice just curious how your liking it.

I switched to zeovit zeobak from mb7 and seen better results in reducing phosphates and nitrates

I installed the HOB model and put it in my sump, it really moves the pellets, no risk of clumping. Check out my thread in the equipment section.
