I was watching a Tidal Gardens video on YouTube about how to deal with cyano, just curious what they were going to recommend. Most was in the norm, but one step he recommends was adding a Micron filter, the filter looked just like the one you’d use on an RODI unit, but he gave no explanation on how to implement it on the tank?

Anyone else done this and care to explain?

I have never heard that for a cure, maybe for catching big chunks as it blows off.

I am gonna try using a canister with a .5 micron filter. I plan on creating a siphon and vacuum up they cyano through filter and return water to tank. I guess I’ll see how it works. Parts should be delivered today
