Could be protozoa that's responsible for FTN and STN, they move the same way. But the pics are too bad for any other ID Like removing dinos as culprits. Dinos are slower and move more random and are much smaller though

It's 4x and I didn't want to give out the information in case it swayed the answers, but it is from a piece of tissue from a STN acro..

The worst spot to find protozoa.
My last sps STN Case was due to a bacterial infect. I couldn't find any protozoa but a lot of spiral bacteria.
You may need to pay attention about the spreading of these things and take out infected SPS as soon as they appear. I dont know how to treat protozoa though

It's been thru dips but not recently, and I'm not sure they effect healthy coral or just show up after it's in trouble, it was recently fragged and noticed a white tissue spot I figured I'd look at it under the scope.
But it will go thru a dip today, unfortunately they are not visible without a scope
