I have recently been setting up a tank that is 2.5 months old. I finished the cycle about 3 weeks ago and have put in 3 fish. The week before, I started to get very long stringy looking algae with bubbles at the ends. I turned off my lights and started a UV light plan to run for 7 days. I did find some sample of the algae floating around in the tank and put them under a microscope. Can you please help to identify? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

That pic has multiple kinds of diatoms, dinoflagellates and some other things too, I'm sure.
Call it the early stage uglies, and don't worry about it for now. Many organisms will appear and disappear as the tank ages and stabilizes.
