I was trying to figure out what type of flatworms I have in my tank. They were too small for my eyes so I asked my daughter's girlfriend for help. Genetics major she is, she said "we need a micropscope!" I've thought about buying one in the past but didn't do it....now I'm thinking about it again and looking for recommendations. I'm not knowledgeable so I'd like for it to be somewhat simple, and I'd like to be able to view on my computer monitor and upload pictures/videos. Good enough to see parasites on scale scrapes, should I ever decide to go there.

What does everyone out there like?

Any decent microscope is going to run you $100-$200. Just look on Amazon....

I personally couldn't justify the cost just bc of flatworms.

But I'd read Amazon reviews. I always read the 3&4star reviews for the truth. 1&5stars reviews are completely biased.

Once read a 1star review bc the shipping label was on the bottom of the shipping box. Gotta love general public idiots..."great product but I was forced to open the shipping box upside down, so I give it a 1star"

Nevermind it sold. If you're on a computer you can save a search on eBay and get notifications whenever there is a new hit for your search. If you find one you really like your can try that to get a good deal.
