Microscopic red worm ID?

Hi, I found a few little microscopic red worms eating algae while identifying some diatoms on my sand bed. Im not too worried about them as they seemed to be eating algae but wanted to see if anyone knew what they were?

This one is on a grain of sand.

Both, my friend runs a lab so they have some very fancy equipment. All the pictures are taken of the computer screen hood up to the microscopes.

No, but I don't think they survived the interceptor treatment.

I finally found the exact thing I saw in my microscope and no ID?? I gotta know!
