Love the minimalist look! Well done.

I wish I'd kept mine labeled like that. Started one and let it go. Can't remember half the names now. :) very nice!
Thanks......I actually only kept a record so I wouldn't mistakenly buy the same frag twice lol. In the long run it has helped though as frags changed colors and growth patterns. Some of my larger colonies don't look anything like the frags that I originally bought.

Last 8 months, I'm happy with the progress. Learned a lot right here on R2R. Had to move the PB tang to a bigger home. Growth started after tank hit 1 year, like magic. Set up in March of 2022.

Most of these started as small frags or are pieces I've had for about a year or so. Working to declutter the bottom and then just let it take off! Acros are starting to get some good growth tips and the torches have doubled. Would love feedback or tips from yall. This is my first big tank :). Trying to learn more everyday.

My miracles 220
Took forever to get the acros happy but getting there
Some growth and encrusting
Finally getting some color

Well… it is mid-year but maybe 5 years in with this group. Soooi much coralline! And then… cyano . Everything is covered! So I did chemiclean while waiting for my shipment of limpets, pods and a very cool conch. I am tired of the hermit crabs killing my snails and each other. So trying a new sand sifter (the conch) and rock cleaners (limpets). I do live a good urchin but my tank is a bit small (evo 13.5) for those spines. Don’t ask how many times I have had to flip over a limpet . Anyway… cyano is fading away, my water is clear and my 2 clowns really want me to drop in a flowerpot for nesting. My goofy 6 line wrasse is having fun pod- hunting. Pics to follow.

This was Dec of 22.
I was fighting bad algae problems. Lost a lot of pieces trying to get my nutrients and trace elements right.

IMG_3434.jpeg

This is current. Only about 5-7 zoas, three torches, three goni, and the rest is sticks. Slowly getting rid of lower end pieces and replacing it with quality stuff.

Hope by next year I can afford to add orphek bars to each of the iCons. And keeping my fingers crossed nothing else goes south.
