Midas Blenny emanciated with ribbed stomach

So my midas blenny hid under a rock after adding my tangs into my tank and only came out once or twice in around 4 weeks.

I caught him out one day in the corner looking real skinny and took the opportunity to catch him and release him into my 60g frag tank.

He has been completely uninterested in food until today when I fed him some algae sheet. (I'll post the video).

Is this just stress? Should I treat again for internal parasites?

Did you treat for internal parasites by feeding food soaked with general cure or metroplex?

Nope, just prazi.

What about the look of the midas blenny stomach area? Is this just emanciated? If so, he is looking better than before where he was ultra skinny.

Prior to this he was a model citizen and ate like a pig. The introduction of the two tangs, which he attempted to beat up, left him hiding under a rock for a long long time.

His poop was never stringy or white.

I'm thinking he went without food for quite some time.

Poor little guy. Stress from aggression is a definite possibility. Can you partition off part of your tank with eggcrate, or consider perhaps moving him into your sump for awhile. My blenny loves mysis. I dose it with Selcon. Best of luck with your little buddy.

Was he "the boss" of the tank prior to my tangs arrival? If so, they probably had to tighten him up and he's been in hiding ever since...

In all seriousness, I would put him in an acclimation box so you can monitor/feed frequently. This will also allow you to watch for any white stringy poo (just in case).

Yes, he is in my 60g shallow frag tank and is the only fish in there. I hand fed him some nori this morning which he took very willingly. I may have to do this manually for a while until he works up the courage to find food on his own...

He was the boss of his rock for sure and chased the YT off a few times before the YT told him off. I dont think the YT hurt him in any way, just stressed him out because he would hover around the midas' rock to let him know he was the boss.

Then the midas disappeared.

Will continue to hand feed and see if I can get thr midas to eat freely.
