I just bought a midas blenny and put him in qt. I just dosed prazipro yesterday. Today I noticed him flashing on the bottom of the tank. Should I start copper even though I just dosed prazipro?

I've only had him since Friday. Since then he has basically laid in a corner. He is eating. His gills are constantly going in and out but other wise seems fine. I don't see any spots or anything. He lays in the corner then gets up and swims up to the surface and around a little then flashes on the bottom. I just don't want to lose this fish.If you aren’t seeing any spots or rapid breathing, I’d not treat both at the same time. Personally, I always dose copper then prazi - protozoans kill fish much sooner/faster than flukes do. Jay
Sounds good, thanks. Since I already started prazipro I will go ahead and give another dose today or tomorrow and start copper this weekend.Prazi only persists in aquariums for around 36 hours. You sometimes need to dose 2 or 3 times in order to kill new flukes hatching out from eggs, but you should see relief in the breathing rate today. If you don't and if the fish's appetite drops off, I would start a copper treatment.
