Midas blenny HELP

Just bought my first midas blenny from lfs did the float acclimation he has been eating but is scared and hiding in the two upper corners of my tank won't go anywhere near the live rock or coral and I have no other fish. Does this make any sense? Anybody have advice on these fish???

I loved my Midas Blenny! Great fish! How long has he been in the tank? Usually it will take some time for them to adjust! Don't worry he will become not as shy and you will love him! As long as he is eating you are all good

Mine took about 2 wks before he was out swimming in the open

Mine loves his barnacles. When I saw him at the lfs there were 4 others in different tanks and I chose mine cause he was almost playing swimming in and out of the different holes in a fake barnacle in his tank. I wanted to buy the barnacle in the tank because he loved it so much but couldn't because that tank had copper treatments. My MB slept on his side on top of the live rock for a couple weeks until I found a nice clean barnacle at another lfs and it's been his home ever since.
Does he sleep on the rock at night or always swimming?

I've seen him on my powerheads and on my intake and return and this morning on my heater. Only been in the tank since sunday evening won't go any where near my reaf stays towsrds top of tank. The last hour is been the best for watching the lil guys playing in the current with me far enough away don't think he realizes I'm in the room. Hes skiddish!
