I just got this blenny from a place that supposedly quarantine after catching fish. Are the little spots ich or maybe sand? Its coloration because of stress? The photos arent very good but its the most i can do rn. I dont have a quarantine tank.

Almost impossible to tell from a top down view. Need side view under white light intensity. While I see a couple of dots, can be as simple as sand grains

The bag ut came in had some carbon and some sand. I will try to get a side pic. Also it seems that the spots are mainly on its top side

Pics needed for sure to determine type of worm and effect it may have on the fish.
Here's what you can do- Set your cell phone on video mode and walk away immediatle. Let the video run at least a minute and fish should come out to explore food.
Load it to you tube and then post it on here

I just got this fish, didnt introduce him in the tank, he is in a bucket now. I hope its just sand since i blew the spots right off of him with a turkey baster gently. That white worm i saw isnt there anymore (i hope its just debris or just a harmless worm). And ich isnt worm-shaped from what i have seen on forums

Im thinking of just adding him, i might have panicked for nothing . I think its sand since ich doesnt detach that easily, right?

If you mean the spots on its head that are arranged symetrically, those are normal.
