My midas blenny was doing quite well whilst acclimating it to the quarantine tank water until I put it in and it freaked out a lot. It kept trying to breach the waters surface and it seems like it was poor aeration in the quarantine so I took it out and placed it into the display tank.

A few seconds after it jumped out then I placed it back in again and it finally calmed down with it no longer trying to breach the surface anymore. However it just stayed in the corners for a while and now its hiding behind the surface skimmer where its been for the past two days with its stress markers even stronger than before. My old midas blenny was never as stressed as this one so what do you think is the cause of this much stress despite being put out of a bad enviroment? I'm not sure its osmotic shock as the salinity of both tanks are near enough the same
