Hey Folks!

So I think I've decided on my next (and possibly final) fish... I think I'm going to go with the Midas blenny! Those guys are just so dang cute :p
Who has one? Do you love/hate it? Will it do well with 2 clowns? Anyone have any negative info on them?

I had one for the longest time and also had a pair of clowns and a pair of bengaii cardinals in a 40breeder. One of my all time favorite fish! Very personable and always out and about. They do like barnacle clusters or something similar to hide in.

Sweet! Now I just gotta find one!!! All local stores are out and I've never placed an online fish order before.. maybe I need to test those waters.

I absolutely love my Midas Blenny! I named her Sassy! Lol! Has been one of my favorite fish since day one!

They are awesome little fish!! They are cute & active-love mine!!
But if placed in tiny tanks like Nanos they can show some aggressive behaviors (I've read this several times) like fin nipping. Recommended size is 30 gal &up.
If your tank is less than 30 gal check with reef squad first for advice!
Here are some great pics ans other info. :

Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I have a 20 gallon and I think I will take my chance. I can always give her away if things don't go well. I have 2 small clowns in the tank already and the midas would be the last one.

I love mine but he has been an aggressive little SOB. He has taken chunks out of every fish I have and my male lyretail and the midas have issues with each other quite regularly. However, since they hate each other so much, they generally leave everyone else alone. The midas is fun, backs into a hole in one of my rocks, has been his "cave" since day 1. :)

Got one in my 400 g. Loafs of personality and the different swimming pattern makes it stand out. Can be annoying to other fish but my fish charge at it when pestering them and it seems to back off.
