Thinking about buying a Midas Blenny at my LFS that is currently having a sale right now. I don’t have anything in my QT right now so my question is as long as the fish are compatible would it be ok to put other fish in my QT with it in case I find something else? I’ve never put more than one species in my QT before. It’s just a single 20 G with some live rock and pvc pipe

It would be fine. It's are meant to be temporary so only having them in a small tank for a short period of time would be fine. Just avoid notorious fin nippers as for some reason (at least in my experience) blennies tend to get their fins nipped

Really? A Midas Blenny Will gets its fins nipped? Or are you referring to it being the one who attacks? I do have a golden head sleeper goby in my DT but it’s a 90G, surely there’s enough space for them to separate.

Whenever I have a blenny in qt fish try to nip their fins. I don't know why

I was looking at midas blennies lately, but got spooked after watching a couple videos of clownfish bullying one to the point of jumping out of the tank.

Really cool fish. The way it swims kinda like a swaying flag is what drew me to it.
