Thoughts on adding a yellow midas blenny to a 180g mixed reef

current tank
Black clown
Picasso clown
Scopas tang
Blue yellow belly regal tang
Blue eye bristletooth tang
Green chromis
Foxface
Timor wrasse
Fire shrimp

in the market looking for a bellus angel-not sure how easy that will be to find, but looking to add 1 more beyond that, was thinking the midas blenny-

You would be A OK! You just can't add any other top to mid tier Blenny, as they will fight for territory, but a bottom dwelling Blenny would be OK!

I've had my Midas Blenni for almost a year, my favorite fish by far, but make sure he has a hidey hole in your rocks!

Would be only blenny

there is plenty of rockwork

Assure it healthy, not skinny and eating with no skin blemishes

Swallow tail angel, especially the female is a great looking reef safe angle.

As for the blenny we have a tail spot with four tangs and others and he is doing great. Midas is a nice looking fish for sure!

Agreed, ask LFS to feed before you buy. Mines is a fat greedy *******, but that's good. He's happy and knows when it's time for food!

Also, don't flip out over color changes first few months, while they settle in ttey will go from Gold to Purple..depending on stress levels, but once settled in, will stay gold.

I lost my beloved midas blenny, Mo, to velvet this week. He was amazing and has so much personality and always stole the show when it came to showing off! Highly recommend one of these dudes!

I loved my Midas blenny! He was one of my favorite fish. Sadly I lost him to velvet. But best fish ever personality wise!
