Hello everyone, so long story kind of short, here I am trying to get back into the Hobby after 10 years I think. I started to cycle a 29 gallon Aqueon 4 weeks or so ago with a HOB 350 and 2 powerheads, did a combination of the old school shrimp and new era Bacteria in a bottle but with no hurry at all ,I still have to finish the stand and many other things, anyways due to very POOR planning on my part I had to tear it down today and move it to the other side of the house.
Will this cause my cycle to start over or affect in any way?

My test this morning before the move were:
PH -8.0
Ammonia .50PPM
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10ppm
I know Im not close to the cycle being done but would it start over?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Not it will not start over :) Bacteria in a bottle should have cycled the tank within a week though. Im guessing ammonia is false positive and you are cycled already!

Thank you, here is my little cloudy monster....

That is pre move at 4 weeks? That is not right. Is the shrimp still in there? Direct sunlight? Looks like a bacterial bloom.

We do full tank cleaning before starting, your anticipated move is now a cleaning intercept for new water and cleaned off sand and rocks. It will not harm your cycle agreed it’s ready when cleaned. Once you have new water 100 and cleaned out system you can begin reefing due to number of days underwater after using bottle bac. However a messy shrimp degrades doesn’t matter, time to clean

Shrimp was taken out after a week, yes it was getting direct sunlight, not anymore.
So start water change process to remove all the unwanted?

It’s best to do all at once vs in parts which leaves waste in the system

do a full water change have the reef clean and ready where you want it set up. All at once

it won’t undo the cycle, you can clean a reef after the cycle and it’s locked in place
