So I just dosed 20 ml or Alk into my Biocube to get my Alk up to 8.8. The thing is, I just dumped the Alk next to the return pump nozzle. I thought I was supposed to put it into a high flow area but did u just mess up my tank? Am I supposed to put it in a chamber in the back?

The tank would not get messed up except that it could "burn" some of the corals. It dissolves either way. Just put it into the back next time

Ok yeah the corals look good still. Any chamber specifically? Probably the 2nd or 3rd?

The reason why people suggest the back is that so it can dissolve before it touches the corals. The more time it gets to dissolve the better. First chamber would be fine, same with second.

You want all additives to mix in well before encountering organisms, and some, like high pH alk additives, you also want to mix in as fast as you can to avoid precipitation of calcium carbonate.

How that is best done will depend strongly on your setup.
