Long story short I had to move my AIO into a regular 75 gal. Decided no sump. So I have a Marineland Magniflow 360 running right now. I'm working out some leaking issues on a Marineland Magniflow 220 then putting it on. Would this be okay for 75 gal? Or do I NEED a skimmer?

My problem bio load children:
Yellow Tang
Black Volitans Lion
Snowflake eel
Bursa Trigger

Not required no. Recommend probably. Especially with fish like the lion, trigger and eel.
They do make quality HOB skimmers as well

Yeah wasn't wanting to do HOB while having a growing eel.

What if I get a Marineland multistage C- 530. To run with the 360, and 220? That’s over 1k gallons filtered

Like I said, a skimmer isn't required, but they do a type of filtering no other filter effectively does. Removing dissolved organics.
As long as you are doing regular water changes, I think your HOB filters will do the job. I like your idea about using multiple power filters. Eels, lions and the like are notoriously messy.
For years and years, we all had nothing beyond an undergravel filter and HOB filters. They worked just fine..

Ran two hob filters on my first tank in mid 2000’s. Stupid 60 gallon with a T5 dual bulb fixture. Just had to watch out for them rusting, but they worked for me with lps, softies, and a few fish. Biggest was a yellow tang.

Okay! Maybe you could also tell me what the difference is with a polishing filter and a skimmer

Yeah everyone is happy for now...water could be better but it’s not in above average readings. I just know filtration with need a remodel because I can’t really afford the money and work for a skimmer. I have 2 of the 3 canisters I want to run, and the other
Is 100 bucks. So if you all say 3 canisters and no protein would be good, I'm gonna listen

Not quite sure what a "polishing filter" would be unless you are talking about a diatomaceous earth filter which is sometimes used in a canister filter. Diatomaceous earth is used to "polish" the water in such a way to remove very small particulates from the water column. It's not the same as a protein skimmer which removes dissolved organics.
As I and others have mentioned above, a protein skimmer definitely isn't mandatory.
Regular water changes, periodic use of high quality carbon, and regular cleanings of you canister filters will do you just fine.
