The LFS just got in a couple of Bubble Tip Anemones, and I found one I really like. I'm thinking about picking him up tomorrow. They've had him for about a week, and he seems to be doing pretty well. Here's a picture from today. The owner says that he's a neon bubble tip, but I'm wondering if he may be bleached. Does he look healthy to you guys? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

never heard of a NEON BTA im pretty sure its bleached. It looks healthy otherwise it should come back but i wouldnt pay the price for a "NEON" if they attempt to charge more

Ya, I found a few instances online of people talking about neon bta's, but not much. He has a really pretty color; he looks similar to what a lot of people are reffering to as green bta's, just a bit lighter in color than some of the pictures I've seen online. I'm kinda torn at this point, he seems to be healthy, but I'd like to know exactly what I'm getting

I vote for bleached. With that said it's not unusual for an anemone to have expelled it's zooxanthella after shipping.
Here's my green bta with wite tips for reference

Figured I'd give an update. He is doing well and has already eaten a few times. I've been giving him little chunks of raw shrimp every 3 to 4 days. He eats no problem and seems to have found a spot in the tank that he likes. The clowns have also taken to him, which is nice to see. The only issue I have is that the spot he's found is in the back of the tank where you can barely see him. I've considered adjusting the power head and changing the flow to see if I can get him to move, but haven't decided on it yet.
