so I went into the basement for feeding last night and found my controller beeping.

High Temp displayed... 91 degrees!! I have no idea why the controller didn't shut the heater off.

Anyway.. I am thinking of ditching this one.

What i need in a controller.
1. WIFI - so i can get the alert immediately
2. Salinity probe
3. Cheap
4. PH probe

thinking of looking at the apex older models or after market. eKoral has something out that looks inexpensive.

thoughts?

What do you have know?

APEX EL should do it for you

not sure what controller you have but I had the same issue when I had the reefkeeper. the relay would get stuck on a few times a month, but luckily my heater was only set to one degree above the setpoint. I just made it a habit of turning it off and on once a week. as mentioned above the apex el is probably a good choice.
