Anyone know what I should do to stabilize my system? I pulled gfo out but not sure if that's all I can do for it. Any advice helps. Tank you.

Check your alkalinity and pH, GFO messes with both when you use too much too fast.

Both alk and ph went down pretty low. In the high 7 range. I'm not sure about the po4 though. Will check that tonight.

Some aminos and phyto keep some dissolved foods in the water.
Wish you were here we have natural seawater for a water change. Lots of dissolved nutrients.

I would just remove the GFO and feed normally and things will come back up in no time. I did the same thing one time before and after a few days my levels came back up. Only use GFO in small amounts and then add as your tests indicate you need to. JME

Stripped my po4 so it's at zero. Gfo is out of the basket right now same with carbon at the moment. I'll let you guys know how it's going in a few days. Thanks for the advice.

I am along for the ride on this one as well. I took my gfo reactor offline a couple days ago and my alk shot up. My nitrate and phosphates are reading 0... Why I took it offline. Hope the phosphate and nitrate lvl will raise a little.

So on top of a gfo overdose, my tds where out the roof high from my local fish store. Needless to say but I'll be getting my water else where and saving to purchase an ro/di setup.
