So here’s my ammonia results as of this morning. As you can see it’s hard to tell. It has to be between 0.50-1.0 is my guess. I’ve never liked the API kits anyways. BUT they do tell me that there is something there so it’s something I guess. Nitrates are the hardest to read for me.

All parameters are good to go! Water change done and dropped in a couple corals (zoa and acan) and a sexy shrimp Let’s see how it goes....

I will be adding an air line clip to keep the tube down as it wants to curl and go back up. For anyone interested in doing a jar, one word of advice. I would keep the air line away from the heater as it causes it to read false temps and will try and go sky high. Some adjusting had to be made on my part until I can get the clip.

Now for some reason I can not find the sexy shrimp. Do they hide? I haven’t found a body which is good I guess.

Found the sexy shrimp! Things are going well with the little tank so far. The wife doesn’t care for the light because the corals don’t pop....can never win[emoji23]

Cool, whats the size of the jar? I'd like to do something like this in the office so it doesn't take up too much space and do just simple macro algae and some cleaner crew.

It will hold 2.5 gallons but the description of the actual jar at World Market is 2 gallon. That’s filled to the first rim and not all the way up.

As much as I like my nano tank, I must say I'm very keen to set up a pico with just coral.
Just for the simplicity and full control it offers. I've got my vase, just need to fill it with water
