Such a amazing setup. I'm trying to take notes from this setup to follow in my build.

Thank you so much for that awesome compliment and best of luck with your build!

He is about 3.5" now. I've only caught him displaying twice and couldn't grab my camera quick enough, lol. He is smaller than our dominant Lineatus and the larger of the two Rhomboids, so it's not surprising that he doesn't display much as he wants to avoid being on their radar.

I have the sro5000ext I'm planning on a total of 500g system. I noticed you were running the 6000sss. I was wondering what your total systems gallon total and if the 6000sss is enough by it's self?

I apologize for taking so long to answer your question... things have been very hectic around here with Terry's Mom in and out of the hospital. Our total system volume is 450g. We have a very heavy bioload as we keep a lot of fish and feed multiple times per day. The SRO 6000sss is rated between 630-735g and handles our load just fine. We also use the SRO neck cleaner which is fantastic.

Simply stunning!! Oh and also Moogly googly and all that! No pecking order problems with the wrasses? I imagine not with all of the nooks and places to go.

Thanks so much Wendy! We are fortunate that our wrasses do get along well. I believe using an acclimation box for new introductions helps a lot. We also feed multiple times a day and they do have plenty of nooks and caves to chill out in.

I have been trying to snag a pic of our larger Rhomboid male while he is in display mode for the past month. I managed to snap this one earlier tonight. It's not one of my best, but it will have to do for now...

And here's the first half decent pic I've been able to snag of our Royal Flasher:

Nice shots Terry, that rhomboid looks really yellow, is it cause he's displaying or just more of a male thing. I'm used to seeing more purple.

I love the pic's! I can't ever get good fish pic's....

Thanks Chris!

Thanks Brett... He does not look like that normally, just when he is displaying his nuptial coloration. His coloration goes even paler than that, just haven't been able to capture the moment with him rocketing around the tank like a missile on steroids, LOL.
