Mike and Terry's 300g Reef

Rescued these rbta's from a slab of live rock in the old frag tank. Still have 3 more to remove...

We still have some cleanup and a bit of rescue work to do, but hopefully all will be finished in the next day or two.

Thanks Z!

Awesome! Tank is really growing!
Thank you Gabriel! The corals have been growing like crazy since we switched salt brands.

Beautiful, but I feel something is different but cant figure out what it is. Did you guys change something?

Brett, we have taken out a few of the larger corals (the gi-normous turbinaria, 2 large stylo colonies, and the 2nd Red Planet colony, as well as pruned back/thinned out some of the remaining larger colonies to make room for new growth, as well as make room for a couple of new frags. Needless to say, we have a bit more to do. Round 2 will be this weekend as we need to thin out some of the slimer (it's shading one of our efflo colonies) and beat back several montipora colonies that are trying to take over, LOL.

Thank you! The guys at AquaBox did an awesome job building it.

Check word 'awesome' in Wikipedia, it has a picture of your tank right next to it. :p
What's the current and ex salt brand?

And an updated FTS:

Things have continued just as well as last I looked in- its gorgeous looking.

Question for you, whats the fish pictured almost center tank with the long tail streams like my swallow tail has, pictured above the cleaner wrasse and in front of the overflow section?

Very nice looking fish

Thank you for the compliment! We switched from Tropic Marin Pro Reef to AquaCraft Marine Environment about 6 months ago. The mix is very consistent from batch to batch and we've been very pleased with it.

Thank You! And to answer your question, that is our male Bellus Angel. He and his mate (she's in the top right of the picture) have been with us for a little over 3 years.

Wow what a great thing to do for the needy. You guys are great.

For an update, we thought we would share some video footage Mike snagged a few days ago:

Great video Mike, the tank looks perfect in so many ways! Where in the world did find the coral reef song?

Thanks, Brett! The video wasn't my best, but Terry did a good job of removing the worst of the shaky footage. She found that song on Amazon in the mp3 download section.

You're making my life miserable. Seeing all your awesome pics and videos, it's making the nitrogen cycle on my 400 very painful. I'ts taking toooooo long
