Mike and Terry's 300g Reef

Wow you guys know how much I love your tank! Great video!

Thanks so much Rev! I need to work on holding the camera still underwater, LOL.

Thank You Krista!

The cucumber sounds exactly like what ours did years ago... a two foot long Medusa worm got sucked into a power head and got cut in half. Every single fish died in a few hours, except the blue ribbon eel which came out of his pipe and was breathing very hard, probably because half of the Medusa went into his pipe. No inverts or corals were affected at all.

Definitely the same reaction... I think we were lucky to catch it early and being one of the sand-sifting cucumbers, we believe it only expelled a small portion of its gut and not the more toxic cuvierian tubules.

By the way, our turf scrubber continues to grow algae like crazy, so I've been harvesting a couple of times a week. Love it!

Such and amazing tank and that video is fantastic!
Rob, Thank You so much for the awesome compliments! I had fun playing with the waterproof camera. The underwater view definitely shows a completely different perspective.

Insane video guys!! How many A.efflo colonies do you guys have? And that Pearl Berry! Looking good.

Thanks so much Andy! We have (2) A. efflo's ($500 efflo from John Coppolino and the other efflo is from WT Inc.) and a large A. solitaryensis which at first blush, looks very similar to an efflo.

Knock on wood... The Pearlberry is growing in nicely.

Wow this is one of the top 10 best tanks I have seen here on reef2reef, you are in there like swim wear. lol I mean the set-up of the fish, coral, pluming and wiring has put you at a different level. I hope you can continue to move forward and continue to show us up-dates as this grows. I can surely say, thanks for sharing with us all.
