Mike and Terry's 300g Reef

Wow mike I'm new here but would like to say your very lucky to have a girl that is into reef keeping with you, seems like I can only get my girl ****** and jealous of my tank:(

I definitely picked a good one. Sometimes, I think she may be more addicted than I am, LOL, but seriously, we make a pretty good team. Terry's more into the fish and I love my SPS.

Beautiful Mike and Terry!

Thanks, Rev! Sorry we haven't posted much lately. It's been a bit crazy around here dealing with new, sick fish in QT.

lookin real nice

Thank you for the compliment and for taking the time to post in our thread!

Beautiful, under the MH it looks so vibrant.

Thanks Barb! The 400w 14k Ushio bulbs are very bright and do tend to make the corals and fish stand out more.

Keeps getting better and better, love it Mike and Terry.

WOW M&T!!! Awesome FTS!!! Making me want to transform the 240 into islands from my rock wall. Great work!

We had the rock wall in our old 180 and 125... here's a pic of the old 180 in it's prime:

We love the island structures in our 300, just getting used to how much the new man-made bonsai structure in the center of the tank changed the look. Once the corals grow in, it should blend nicely.

Lol. Yep, that's my 240's structure wall type. Your new aqua scape looks so tempting that I'm gonna try it (not try to copy... Ok maybe, lol, just kidding). Awesome though. We'll see if I can do a different scape soon (just preoccupied with my regal at the moment).

We spent a few hours on Sunday doing some much-needed maintenance - water change, Tunze cleaning, moved a couple of corals around and promoted some frags to the DT. We snapped a few pics after the "dust" settled down last night and thought we'd share them:

Our male Eightline Flasher is growing up fast:

Just plain amazing. I'm sure your tank is an inspiration to a lot reefers, including myself. Passion, dedication, and hard work is what best describes what you guys have put together. Every time I see new pics, the tank gets better and better. Bravo! :)

Yes very well done! I love your tank!
