do I have to keep a piece of the rock attached?

$$ isn't the issue. I'm a huge believer in credit card/instant gratification since I'm old and running out of time.
the issue would be:
1. what to do with all the current live stock
2. redoing the wall and electric
3. getting a bigger tank down the stairs and in to place
4. not sure the floor would handle it

wouldn't do it for just an additional 30g's.
and replacement would need to be 30" deep so I can reuse the scape.
plus I left out I can use the unspent $$ on a new tank, and do some out of state hunting.

im genuinely curious. What would and upgrade for the great enabler be? In a perfectly enabled world?

don't know how many gallons this would be.
8' x 30" x 30".
I think it would break the floor.
poured concrete floor already has cracks.

thats round about my end goal. Thinking anywhere from 7 to 8 with 30 or 36 wide and 24 tall. Both yours and mine are well within the 300g range I believe. Don’t know what to do about the concrete though

Find someone who knows floors. I betcha You could figure something out. Maybe not an unreasonable monster like @fishguy242 s basement LFS. But still. 10 years is plenty of time to enable yourself to do something silly

two tanks is enough.
once I move the euphyllia and nems out of the 150 I'll have more space to fill.
