Alright everyone I finally got a test kit. Thank you again @cameronh. Ive done two water changes in the past two weeks, and my water paramaters are currently (pH - 7.8 / Ammonia - 0 / Nitrite - 0 / Nitrate - 5.0) Here are some pictures of my tank that I wanted to share with everyone!

Cool man, we need to get those nitrates down to zero man, a little is ok to have. Your corals look pretty good as well.

Just stay on top of them water changes buddy.

Try getting some more rocks since they are going to be your primary filtration. Are those biocube with compact fluorescent lights? Not sure if those lights can support sps, what you think @cameronh, is that the same tank you have?

It's the same tank but mine has the sps pack made into the canopy. But I just bought a kessil a160we to replace it with being those lights are old as dirt now. The compact fluorescent "should" keep them though. It's leds that makes it harder I believe.

@Brian Kim I know I need rock I need 25 more pounds of it, but live rock can be quite expensive. From my lfs its $7 a pound, and from other people through Facebook its only $3 a pound but the drive is a long 1 - 2 hour drive.

So be careful when adding rock to a running tank as it can cause a new no I cycle. Dry rock would be the safest way to go. Keep up on water changes and your tank will be awesome in no time

I prefer dry rock as well. That's all I would use on any new tank I set up. That way you know what your getting which is nothing. Just add some pods manually. Coraline would eventually get in from frag plugs anyhow.

Sorry everyone for the delay. Ive been taking finals since Monday. I did a water change this morning, and im waiting for a little wile to test.

As i dont recommend using the compacts for sps specifically acros , my gf has a stock biocube packed with montis and a few acros without a problem, i have a par meter and its critical to change the bulbs every 5 months if you want to keep sps, if your not going to add alot of live rock soon and wind up stocking it, would keep the bioballs nd just keep up with waterchanges for nitrates , enjoy pal!!
