So, I've been planning on upgrading current tank for the past couple months, and tomorrow my new 80 gallon rimless should be arriving at my LFS. I'm pretty pumped to get this thing set up and running.

It's probably gonna be a few weeks before I get it up and running but I figured I'd get the threads started and update as it progresses. I will post some pics tomorrow of the tank and stand once I get them in the house and set up.

Well, I finally got the stand in after 2 weeks of waiting. Got the tank and sump but the stand was out of stock. Today I got to put some water in it, only 40 gallons but I guess that's better than nothing ‍. Hoping that I can finish filling it tomorrow. Still need a skimmer and light. Got a trigger systems crystal 30 inch sump. It looks kind of small in the stand, kind of wish I would have went with the 36 inch. Ut I guess it will have to do lol.

Looks good. Don’t worry about the sump, the leftover room in your stand will be good for an Ato.

Thanks. And you're right, at least I'll have some room for other things like an ATO and controllers.

Yes, everything besides lights. Cycle has started, I'm hoping the no light situation will keep the algae down too. And I'm going to be using the aquatic life t5/led hybrid with 2 prime hd's and either a hydra 26 or 52

Light fixture finally got delivered today! Dont have the LEDs installed yet but got it up and running! Looks pretty blue in the picture but its 2 blue plus and 2 coral plus. So in person it is not near as blue as the pic.

Sweet! I used to run 2 blue+, 1 purp+, 1 coral+, so I can picture yours. I really loved the look. The leds should make it awesome

Purple plus sounds awesome! Honestly didnt even think about it when I ordered, I kinda thought having 2 coral+ would be too bright. And yea i can't wait to get all the LEDs mounted to really fine tune everything and get it exactly how I want it.

Haven't updated this in a while, so here's a few FTS. Still looks really empty. All the coral was just transferred from the fluval 13.5. Gonna be adding another prime HD early next week so hopefully the lighting won't be as awkward lol. Also, really need to get better powerheads
