looking good! i'm thinking about canceling my 50 ext backorder and grabbing 100 instead.
I like your plumbing, but I couldn't find where you placed your check valve in your return side. what did you use?

Bigger is always better lol. I did not use a check valve in my return side. My research showed that unless you keep them clean, they will fail. Instead I have my return nozzles high enough and my sump water low enough that if the pump is off, the sump does not over fill. Also there isn't too much water in the sump that if all 3 drains get clogged, which is very unlikely, the display can handle the water (barely). Good luck with your tank!

You are welcome. Your build thread was the first one I read on the 100 ext that helped me decide on that tank and sump. Enjoy the silencers. I couldn't imagine not using them. My wife would not put up with the noise and I would really miss her lol. Now get that bad boy wet!

Picked up some more corals and a couple of fish today. A local reefer does a $10 frag sale every once in a while. Picked up 9! new corals. Not all went into this tank though. Put a couple in my 2 nano reefs.

no pics of the fish yet. They are in quarantine. A royal gramma and orange spot goby. Get them from someone who is moving and selling off his tank.

Got some new gear today. I am a member of PNWMAS and since we haven’t had any meetings since COVID they decided to do an end of summer spectacular with contests and a raffle. One of the raffles had a grand prize of am MP40 and I won!! I was watching the drawing video and when the said my name I yelled out scaring my wife lol. Picked it up today and got it installed.

Good news is it works great, has no problem staying on the back wall and is hard to see. Bad news is now I want one for the other side lol.

Winning story was great, I occasionally scare the wife when something favorable happens in a Blackhawks game, causing me to yell out in excitement.

Tampa Bay has been my NHL team since they came into the league, but the Blackhawks have a place in my heart as the Portland Winterhawks (local minor league team) got their first uniforms from them and still wear the logo.

Thank you. I love it too. I have an orchid dottyback in a different tank. Starry blenny might not be a bad idea. Got some algae issues I think do to the uncured rock I added. I thought copper band butterflies were hard to keep alive?

Bangai Cardinal is cool looking.
Filefish are the bomb, but you have fleshy LPS.
A goby-pistol shrimp is interesting to watch.
A Royal Gramma is colorful, or
a Pintail Wrasse for some cool colors.
Wrasses, Tangs, and Anthias for active swimmers.
Gobies, Blennies, Psuedochromis, Hawkfish or Assessors for fish you search for.
