Mildew or mold in refugium sump

Hi all,

i was just wondering if this is normal but i have some mold or mildew build up in my sump. I was just wondering if this is normal?

Looks kinda like Cyano. I would try and block light out of hitting your return section and only light up the refugium. I wouldnt stress it too much though unless its in your display. Im also guessing your tank is somewhat new?

7 months ish... i just went through a fallow of 76 days...

Its just a type of algae. I wouldn't stress about it. It will come and go from time to time.
