Why is it that Aquaforest Reef salt has increased in price in the UK by 43% in the last 2 months? It's now more expensive than some premium brands. Is it the same in the States or just the usual "Rip-off UK"?

Switch! Competition sometimes leads to better for hobbyistsYup, seems like you guys are also being hit hard. That's £60 for 19kg right there. Two months ago I was paying £48 for 23kg, now it's £70. I can buy H2Ocean for £66, so I guess Aquaforest doesn't want the UK's business anymore.
Do not take it personally. Greed is everywhere during the pandemic. Call and ask them. They will tell you COVID is the reason.Yup, seems like you guys are also being hit hard. No, I did mention Brexit tongue in cheek as an excuse above, but that was a year ago, not a month or two ago. Nothing else has increased in price by 43% that I can see and other European goods have remained at roughly the same price in the same time span. No, this reeks to me of taking the P at the customers expense. You forgot Brexit. Everything has gone up in price since leaving the EU.
Why do you call it greed? This is a luxury good that has many many alternatives product for which someone can easily switch away. Costs have gone up and these businesses had a choice....raise prices or go out of business. In my vocabulary, that is desperation not greed.Do not take it personally.
