So I have multiple millepora in my tank. Mostly small frags that have had full polyp extension and we’re doing great but these days the polyps have not been extended and the growth has slowed to a stop. I don’t know what’s going on because I have not changed anything in the tank and it is species specific all the tenius have full polyp extension

Has anyone else ran into this issue?

Likely it will boil down to lighting, flow, or parameters. Can you give details of the system and any changes made lately?

Also, how long have they been in the tank? and, how long did it take for health to decline?

Any coral nippers in the tank? Angels, butterflies, etc? They could be interested in the movement of the long polyps on the millepora and nip at them more than any other species. Just a guess though.

Same thing happened to me. I'm quite sure it was alk issues. Now that I test and dose everyday they seem to be recovering.
