I am wondering if anyone out there would like one of these. If there is enough interest we might be able to get a quality acrylic fabricator to take up the design. So like any million dollar idea first there must be a need. Next comes an elegant solution.
One thing that bugs me when i dip frags is the amount of water required and also the difficulty in rinsing the frags especially when using bayer dip. What I am proposing is an open topped box that is ~8x8 and 6 tall. It would have two sides extend 2" below to bottom to form legs. The bottom would have a 1/2 valve installed. A ledge would be on the inside 2" from the bottom that would support egg create. A 1 gal water level line would be inscribed on the side. The box will sit in your sink with your frags and 1gal of coral dip water. After the dip time is up open the valve and drain the solution then refill with new water and repeat until your corals are well rinsed. Return your corals to the tank, remove the egg create and you can use the empty box as a top down viewer to check out your newly dipper and pest free frags
Am I insane or a genius??
