I haven't really kept acros before so could somebody tell me if this is realistic? Ive never seen a coral posted for a million dollars before.

Hi @N.Sreefer,
No, acros are never this expensive. This is the vendor making a joke or showing how much they love this particular colony and how they would never sell it. Most acros range in price from $20-200, but other prices exist outside of this range. Pricing also depends on the vendor and if you are purchasing from hobbyists themselves.
 
I was going to mention this one too. Adam put that price up because he doesn’t intend to ever sell it...
Thanks for clearing that up! I thought they were scamming people or something just happened to be the first coral I seen on the site and Ive never bought from them before.
 
I'll never understand coral that means so much to you that you'd never sell it. I've discounted corals heavily knowing they are going to a really nice tank I can buy a frag from if I have an accident. Not that this is worked that well, none of those are in my tank now. But I still feel better knowing my coral is probably out there waiting to show up on a frag swap rather than never to be seen in captivity again.
