millions or billions

how much money is spent yearly on this hobby , would you guess millions or billions ? From the time you buy the tank , all the equipment , the test kits ,and monthly stuff like food ,salt,water or filters,the coral and fish,etc. all the people involved like the reefers who get the items fish and corals. the companies that produce all our equipment , the companies that sell the equipment there is alot of people and companies involved in setting one reef tank up. wow really never thought of it and how many people this hobby employs. So what do you think the price tag comes out too yearly ? Just a thought

Well considering a finished reef runs on average about a 100$ per gallon I would say billions lol...
Take note wwc is on track for a million in sales by it's self...
The hobby is holding strong in this time of a poor economy....
