I have one. I don't remember why I got it besides hating to find a light source around my dark QT tanks. Yes, there are one with lights built in, but where I already had a regular one, I went for the digital instead. I love gadgets, so I love this. I still use my regular refractometer as well.

I have one and I love it. No messing around trying to see if a line is here or there anymore. Gives a digital readout and takes the guesswork out, I still check it with my refractometer every couple of months though just to make sure.

When I use mine I always zero it out with rodi water before I do a reading. I don't think it's nessesary to do that every time but I do just for peace of mind.

How accurate is the Milwaukee Digital Salinity Reader?

Is there a Better More Accurate Digital Reader out there?

I Saw a Video and he Calibrated it with RO Water (I really do not like this and would like to Calibrate it with 1.026 Salinity Solution).

Can you Calibrate it with 1.026 Salinity Solution or Does it Have to Be RO Water?

They Look Exactly the Same Except one is Green and one is White?

But the Hanna is $55 More.

I have not used the pen style meter. But the bigger display o the Milwaukee is easier to read.

Works really good. I love it and won't look back to regular refractometers.
