I have been having issues with my refractometer lately. Anyone else see different readings based on the temperature of the refractometer?

Battery level?

My basement is in the 68 to 71 range depending on the season and I haven’t had any differences in readings. I let it sit a minute to temp adjust before I take the measurement. What temp is your tank and meter?

I also use RODI to calibrate about every 2 weeks. I used the distillided that came what the heck the unit but I can’t detect any difference using distilled or my rodi.

Battery is new. I use the refractometer outside and calibrate it before use. Tank temp is ~78, but I'm using the device to check the saltwater I'm making for the tank. I get consistent measurements when I test the new water and the tank water, but it's reading very high - I suspect it's the refractometer's temperature that is influencing the readings.
