I know it's none of my business and I'm offering unsolicited advice but I have an Apex PM2 and it's not as reliable as this. Reason being that salinity monitors and controllers use conductivity probes which is very sensitive to temperature/stray voltage placement, bubbles etc. They are good and dandy and nice to have for the ballpark number but in my experience nothing replaces a good ol' refractometer (a very good one in this case). So I would advice you keep this until you get your controller/monitor if possible so you can see if you're happy with it.

Just my .02 :)

PS: To everyone else this is a great deal and you should snatch it before it's gone. This is going to be a great piece of equipment to have!

Please mark as sold. Thanks for the interest everyone.

Seriously, a good deal, but I'm curious how you would measure your salinity when you make water...I could NEVER get rid of my Milwaukee :)
